Yes, spider runs are now not needed there is a Elder black widow in GW:EotN, only one tho, its south of ratta sum ill try and get SS after im done gettin points

I saw it - says "Pet - Elder Black Widow"...however, it belongs to the Ranger Boss, it is not a free roaming widow up for grabs.

I notice if you go into Arachni's Haunt, and back out, the Elder Black Widow no longer has the "Pet" prefix and is thus not charmed yet by the Ranger Boss (so it seems) so there may be a chance to grab it before she does.

Like all boss pets, there is a small, very little chance of it being available for you if the boss do not kill it and the pet has not been charmed by him.

But they make those creatures aggressive to pets, so if they char another thing, like an Iguana, they'll kill the pet soon after.

I wanted to capture it with my hero but Jora didn't use her charm animal when I pushed the skill.

Edit: Wnt with my ranger and I cant capture it, everytime i go in and out of arachni's and click fast on the boss then she already captured it like an instant capture. but there is no pet infront of the elder spiders name

How did u do it Freaking ??

Same here, Olias refused to charm it even after I pushed the Charm Animal button AND to target what I was targeting. I gave up hehe.

How did you manage to charm it? I tried a couple of times zoning in and out but it always turns red within a second, and I haven't seen an Iguana in sight yet that the boss could charm instead.

It's red even when it doesn't say pet, and says it's an invalid spell target.

In fact it says I'm using charm animal on pet-elder black widow, if you declare the spell, even when it doesn't show pet in the name.
